Welcome to Thorley u3a
We are a self-help learning organisation for people in their 'third age’, mainly those who are retired or semi-retired. Everyone who is involved in running Thorley u3a is a volunteer – whether they are on the committee, run one of the groups, organise trips or help at our monthly meetings.
Joining Thorley u3a is a great way to develop your interests and skills while making new friends and enjoying life. Our activities cover a multitude of interests including Cribbage, Gardening, History, Languages, Outings and trips, Singing, Special events, Table Tennis and Walking. Membership
Thorley u3a membership includes attendance at our monthly meetings, the Third Age Matters magazine that is posted to members five times a year, the opportunity to join our many and varied Interest Groups and to join us on our special events and outings.
