Park in the Horshoes pub car park, Horseshoe Hill, Upshire, EN9 3SN for a 5 mile undulating walk on the Northern part of Epping Forest. Passing Copped Hall and Boudica’s Obelisk. Join us in the pub afterwards for a drink or a light lunch.

From Kings Cross to Barnsbury. Journey will be train from BS to Tottenham Hale and then Kings X.This is an urban walk with lots of 19C history including Sadlers Wells and the end of the New River, interesting churches and squares. Distance is about 4 miles. Once back at Kings Cross we will finish with some time at the Coal Yards redevelopment we visited in the summer of 2024.

Park in Pishiobury Park car park off the A1184, Harlow Road, Sawbridgeworth. CM21 0AU is close by but not exact. A 5 mile walk with views over Harlow and quite a bit of the River Stort. We pass the well pump house where our water comes from and the recent attempted Gipsy site that was recently in the news. An easy fairly flat walk.

Park at Saint Mary's church, Magdalen Laver, Ongar CM5 0EG. Please note that the approach to the church is along a private (posh) drive, but the church owns the access. A 6.1 mile walk in prime Essex and very flat countryside. There is an eco loo at the start/finish.
