Park in Hoe Lane, Lower Nazeing, Essex. EN9 2RB. meet outside a house called "Lockwood" for this 5.5 mile walk. It is near the junction of Hoe Lane and Middle Street. It covers part of the Lee valley Country Park that we have not visited before. Plenty of lakes and the River Lee. A flat walk except for one mild hill at the end. No stiles. The half way stop is at the river cafe at Broxbourne, where you can buy a drink/snack or bring your own.

Revised walk; Start at the Free car park, The Street, High Roding. CM6 1NS Grid. TL 602 171 This 5.5 mile walk is over flat Essex farm land and visits the windmill at Althorpe Roding. It is walk no WM13 in our lockdown walks. You can download it to your phone.

Park & Start at Dave's  house, 9 Lloyd Taylor Close, Little Hadham, SG11 2NB The walk is about 5 miles going a bit south, a bit east, a bit north, and then through Bury Green on the way home. the route is mainly flat with a couple of gentle slopes. Lunch will be in the garden, weather permitting, with coffee /cake to follow. We have plenty of chairs and cushions to rest those weary legs,and a loo in the utility room as well. REMEMBER !!! - We live in a cul-de-sac so parking can be tricky. Get here early to get one of the four spaces outside the house, or park about 100 metres away in The Smithy just round the corner.

Park in the car park for Pishiobury Park, off London Rd, Sawbridgeworth. CM21 0AU is close by. A 5 mile circular walk.

Tue 15 July. 8.00am. A day out at the seaside.
Meet at 8.00am in the car park at the rear of Sainsbury's Thorley store to car share to Southwold, Suffolk. Use IP18 6HN for the Godyll road car park. Arrive at Southwold at about 10.30 for a 3 mile walk before we stop for lunch, and about 2.5 miles after lunch. Weather permitting we will be crossing the river by rowing boat ferry. The walk includes the town itself a quirky pier and salt marshes. Bring a packed lunch and drinks for the day and £2.00 for the ferry.

It's a fairly flat walk of 5.7 miles with one stile, following a mixture of quiet lanes and footpaths.

Park and meet by St Mary’s Church, Furneux Pelham SG9 0LD. Grid ref 194 TL431 279. A 6.5 mile walk taking in Brent Pelham and Stocking Pelham. A mix of open countryside, winding paths and alpacas. No stiles.

Park near the White Hart pub, High Street, Stebbing, CM6 3SG. A 5.6 mile walk towards Church End, Dunmow. There are two concrete footbridges near the start of the walk with easy stiles at each end of the bridges.

We will walk north a bit past Hadham Lodge and High Wood. Then, go under the new bypass and Hadham Park, through Cradle End and Bury Green. Lots of field edges, paths and some roads, very flat, no stiles. 5.5 miles.

Park at the Manuden Community Centre Car Park, David Collins Drive, Bishop's Stortford CM23 1EH. A pleasant walk towards Ugley Green along mainly field edges and minor roads. There is a small slope at the beginning and two bar stiles across a footbridge, but fairly flat overall. We pass through some areas of woodland, and return to Manuden along the Harcamlow Way. 5.8 miles
