The Art Group is a friendly group open to people of all abilities who are interested in drawing and painting and wish to further their skills and mix with like-minded individuals.

We meet twice a month at the Baptist Church in Bishops Stortford for formal sessions and once a month at Southmill Arts for an informal ‘coffee and sketch’ 

Our members receive a monthly newsletter, via email with details of group meetings and other art related items of interest, i.e. TV programs, art exhibitions etc. In addition, we issue a monthly challenge, not compulsory, for members to work towards. We also have an active WhatsApp group where members post their work. We also organise group outings and arrange demonstrations and life drawing from time to time.

Subscriptions are currently £10 per quarter. We welcome new members.
