New members welcome!

The friendly and enthusiastic u3a Singers is a choir of nearly 30. We include both ladies and gents, and most of our music is in three parts – soprano, alto and bass.

Directed by professional musician Sue Hickman, we have a varied repertoire, including musicals, pop and classic. Our aim is to have fun and enjoy ourselves while making the best sound we can.

You don’t need to be able to read music and we don’t audition members – but it does help if you can hold a tune!

We generally perform two concerts a year and sometimes also sing at care homes and local festivals. We also hold a few social events, including an annual garden party.
